A clear price for eligible California divorce or legal separation paperwork. Compare what each service includes, how payments work and which costs are separate.
A set service fee for the work we accept. Court and third-party costs are separate. Additional revisions or work outside scope require your authorization.
Fast Divorce® is a Legal Document Assistant service, not a law firm. You make the legal decisions and represent yourself. We prepare documents at your specific direction and do not give legal advice or represent you in court.
I am not an attorney. I can only provide self help services at your specific direction.

Compare the two services
Both services include the accepted document work through the judgment stage. The difference is the detail involved and the number of included rounds of draft changes.
Same selected service with either payment choice. No package is selected for you.

Pay in full or over three months
How the payments work
The first monthly payment is due at enrollment. The next two monthly due dates appear in your signed payment schedule. There is no added installment fee, interest, or finance charge under these plans.
A credit card is required for a payment plan.
Payment plans require a valid credit card on file. Your first payment is due at paid-service enrollment, after our initial application review and the required notice and contract steps. The first application does not collect payment. You authorize payments 2 and 3 to be charged automatically on the dates shown in your payment schedule.

These are service fees. Court and other outside costs may also be due, as explained in your signed records.
Before judgment work begins: your entire account balance, including remaining service payments and authorized outside costs, must be zero. This applies before judgment preparation, assembly, review, quality checks, finalization, or submission begins.
For example, if your paperwork is ready for the judgment stage before your last scheduled payment, the remaining balance must be paid before that work starts. Choosing monthly payments does not change this requirement.

We prepare the selected documents from your facts and directions, organize drafts for your review, and coordinate the included filing and service steps. We also prepare the accepted financial-disclosure and judgment paperwork. Your agreement sets the precise work included in your case.
After acceptance and invitation, the Client Portal gives you a place for tasks, requested records, drafts, and messages. If the court enters judgment during active processing and closeout, we deliver available final records and coordinate the certified-copy request included in your agreement. The number of copies, covered costs, and any separate charges follow your signed records.
You provide complete information, make your legal decisions, review drafts, return the required signatures, and pay the agreed fees and costs. We explain what the team needs next. The court controls its requirements, decisions, and timing.
Some expenses are paid to the court, a delivery provider, or another professional. They depend on the work your case requires. We identify applicable charges before you authorize them.
Court and filing costs: court filing fees and electronic filing or provider charges.
Delivery and notice costs: private or special service of papers, publication or posting, newspaper charges, postage, and courier costs.
Document costs: notarization, translation, and copy or certification charges outside any written allowance.
Separate professional work: legal advice, mediation, tax advice, valuation, retirement-plan division orders such as QDROs, and other specialist services.
Not every case needs every item. Preparing a document or coordinating a request does not necessarily include the court or vendor's charge. Your signed records identify any included allowances.
If court fees are difficult to afford: you can ask the court for a fee waiver. If requested, we can prepare the request from your information within the accepted scope. The court decides whether to grant it. A court fee waiver does not waive Fast Divorce's service fee. Read the California Courts fee-waiver guide.
If you need help accessing an application or reading the service information, contact our team so we can discuss available assistance.
Clear boundaries. Your authorization.
When drafts or circumstances change
A combined revision round means sending your requested changes together so we can apply them in one pass. Super Fast includes one round; Complete includes up to three. The changes must stay within the accepted scope.
An additional round may be offered for $195 with Super Fast or $295 with Complete, with your separate authorization. Other work outside scope requires a separate written quote or agreement when available.
If the court returns paperwork, we review the notice and the work needed under your agreement. A correction, a new request, and a change in case circumstances are not always the same kind of work. We explain any proposed additional work and fee before you authorize it. A different package is not selected or charged automatically.
Find the work that sounds familiar
Situations that may sound familiar
These are examples to explain the services, not client stories or a determination that a service fits your case.
01
Your decisions are made and the paperwork is straightforward
You have the information ready and want help turning your written decisions into the included court papers. Super Fast may cover that work. Compare its scope before choosing.
02
You have more detail to put into writing
You and your spouse have decided on parenting schedules, support, or property terms, but there is more to document and review. Complete offers broader document work and more included rounds of changes. It does not include negotiating those terms or advising you what to accept.
03
You started a case and need help with the remaining papers
You filed earlier, then stopped because you were unsure what paperwork remained. An eligible existing case may fit either service after review. Tell us what has already been filed and whether the court has sent anything back. Read the Already Filed requirements.
Before you enroll
Applying and changing your mind
Start with the online application for review; an introductory call is not required. The initial application does not collect payment or complete your service contract. If the work fits and you choose to proceed, review the required notices, agreements, service scope and full price before completing the separate signatures and payment steps.
We review your submission before accepting the requested work. Confirmation of receipt does not mean your matter has been accepted, a case has been filed, or a divorce or legal separation has been approved. If we cannot accept the selected service, we explain the options and handle any adjustment or refund under your contract and applicable law. A different service requires your authorization.
Cancellation rights: the required LDA Contract includes the right to cancel within 24 hours after you and Fast Divorce both sign it. Read Part III for the full rights and methods. It explains the limited rules for keeping fees for work actually, necessarily, and reasonably performed with your knowing and express written consent. Other cancellations and refunds follow your signed agreements and applicable law. We accept written requests by email or through the Client Portal once you have access.
No. Complete provides broader document work and more revision support. Neither service changes the court's timing or California's minimum waiting period for ending a marriage. Read more about timing.
Does the monthly option include less help?+
No. The selected service has the same scope whether you pay in full or monthly. Paying in full at enrollment receives the stated discount. The full account balance must be paid before judgment work begins.
Is a joint petition a separate package?+
No. A joint petition is a way of starting a court case, not a third Fast Divorce service. Either service may support that starting path when the requested work fits its scope. You make the legal choices; the team can explain the service requirements.
What if we still disagree about the terms?+
Our service fees cover document preparation and the included administrative work. Legal advice, negotiation, mediation, and court representation are separate. A licensed attorney can advise you about your rights; a mediator can help willing spouses discuss terms.
